Automated machine for medium length and medium to high thru put requirements

Milpitas, CA – (October, 2014) Beahm Designs Inc, a Silicon Valley-based innovator in catheter manufacturing equipment today announced the release of the Horizontal Laminator (Model 410-A), offering device manufactures a highly refined solution designed to reduce process steps and eliminate operator dependency by automating a manual process formerly requiring a heat gun or hot air station. This system meets a wide range of configurations and options are available to meet the most demanding applications.

Until now, the only automated laminations systems available were vertical lamination systems typically configured for four component processing and long length products. The horizontal lamination system addresses the need for lower volume and medium length product configurations.

This new tool is equally effective for both R&D and mass production requirements.

Provides Process Control

This system is uses precisely controlled hot air to shrink, laminate or reflow thermoplastic
materials. Utilizing a sealed linear actuator, the machine traverses a multi-port thermal nozzle along a specified length. A motion control system with keypad parameter interface and individual temperature controller allow the user to input precise length, speed and temperature values.

Tailor Finished

Designed to meet the needs of most any application, the machine is ultra-configurable and options are available to address product handling, product gripping, special programming and precise air delivery.

Capabilities include long shaft lengths and wide speed range. Designed to accommodate a wide range of thermal nozzles, the 410-A is fully customizable to meet the most specialized applications.
